7-Eleven teams in the Northeast Division are doing their part to give back to their communities. How? New Jersey Masonic Wheelchair Track and Field Event, North Brunswick, N.J.:
7-Eleven field teams volunteered their time to provide breakfast consisting of 7-Eleven coffee and bakery products during a two-day wheelchair track and field event in June. The event consisted of a weekend of camaraderie, competition and self-satisfaction while encouraging self-esteem among athletes.
10th Annual Audi Best Buddies Challenge, Hyannis Port, Mass.:
7-Eleven employees and field teams assembled gift bags with 7-Eleven-branded coffee mugs, notepads and pens and handed out 7-Eleven sandwiches and bakery items during the Best Buddies Challenge on Cape Cod. The event brings celebrities, athletes and individuals with intellectual disabilities together to foster friendship and teamwork while participating in a walk or bike ride.
