U.S. Vice President Joe Biden Visits New Jersey 7-Eleven

While visiting the Jersey Store last weekend, Vice President Joe Biden made a stop into a 7-Eleven® store. The vice president had just completed his morning run when he stopped into Store #29157 in Bay Head, N.J., for two coffees, an apple fritter and a copy of Newsweek magazine.

"I was just reading the morning paper that said the vice president would be visiting Bay Head when the Franchisee called to tell me Biden had just left his store," said Field Consultant Phil Maione.

Store Franchisee Jigesh Patel said it was quite the honor and a surprise that the vice president stopped at his 7-Eleven store. Biden took his time in the store and agreed to take a picture with the store's manager, TJ Barot.

The Vice President was in town to serve as special guest at Gov. Jon S. Corzine's campaign kickoff for re-election in East Orange.
