7-Eleven South China Wins Best Multinational Chain Brand

Zhù Hè (Congratulations!) to 7-Eleven South China, the international licensee recently won the 2007 Best Multinational Chain Brand in China.

The Best Chain Enterprises Rankings awards were recently held in Shanghai, China.

"We are very excited and honored to receive this award," said Gary Baldo, Managing Director Asia/Pacific 1, "The 7-Eleven South China Team was focused on executing Retailer Initiative this year and they should be very proud of this accomplishment."

Following the acquisition of 110 stores in March 2007, 7-Eleven South China now operates 442 stores including 37 franchised stores.

Other multinational retailers at the event include Starbucks, McDonald's, Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Häagen-Dazs, and Park `n Shop. The event was hosted by Nanfang Daily Media Corp. and the 21st Century Newspaper Group.
