3+ MONTH CONTRACT.
This individual will be responsible for working closely with the HR Managers to analyze the division’s hiring needs and subsequently develop recruitment plans and strategies to meet those needs. Primary responsibilities include actively recruiting to fill critical management openings, recommending process or technology changes to impact outcomes, accomplishing recruitment metrics, and driving succession planning initiatives within the division.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include but are not limited to:
• Source (indirect and direct) and screen talent to serve in field based management positions
• Develop talent pools in key markets
• Research new recruitment technologies and trends and make appropriate recommendations
• Achieve results on time to fill, fit to role, succession planning fills, diversity fills and other measures
• Establish and cultivate relationships with key third party organizations (college, military and other)
• Establish a strong working relationship with division leadership team
• Coordinate interviews and job offers with the leadership team
• Conduct training for division leadership on interviewing and selection skills as needed
• Work with Corporate Talent Acquisition Department to analyze staffing trends
Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- Position requires six (6) or more years experience sourcing, recruiting, screening and interviewing executive/management level job applicants.
- Undergraduate degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Candidate must have behavioral interviewing experience and knowledge of current recruitment techniques.
- Candidate is required be familiar with employment laws effecting recruitment efforts.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position will typically support 7-Eleven’s Canadian Division. It will be based in Toronto. Work can be performed in a general office environment and at external functions.
This position will require some travel.
