The character will be the star of the October Slurpee® cups, straws and red apple-flavored Fuji Frost Slurpee® drink. 7-Eleven also will sell licensed Domo merchandise, such as designer toys from Domo licensee Dark Horse, a Domo Manga comic book from Tokyopop, Domo DVD (U.S. only), energy drink by manufacturer Boston America and even Domo-themed coffee cups.
"Domo has become an Internet phenomenon that appeals to the 16-24 year-old target," said Evan Brody, Marketing Manager for Slurpee and Big Gulp brands. "This is a great opportunity for our customers to see Domo interact with their favorite beverage while giving them the chance to own some unique Slurpee and Domo products." Brody also points out that the Domo and Slurpee campaign is more about the fun that Domo brings to 7-Eleven stores and less about the actual red-apple flavor of the Slurpee beverage, which you won't have to worry about Domo stealing from you since he hates apples.
